The South Bay is a masterpiece by ARK - Reza Kabul Architects.
The structure is reminiscent of a luxurious cruise ship that is about to set sail. Anchored in the heart of South Mumbai, the contemporary design comes as an organic response to its surrounding. The roads around the structure depict waves, while the enormous double heighted lobby along with the 6 storied parking bay, forms the hull of the structure. The luxurious residences starting from the 7th floor, form the superstructure of the ship, with their floor to ceiling windows offering a mesmerising and picturesque view of the sea. Higher up, the landscaped sky lounge forms the main deck of the cruise ship, making it an ideal space to enjoy the view of the prime location, and to have a perfect soirée. The water tank and lift machinery are enveloped in perforated zinc sheet, that is illuminated from behind, this creates a tiered appearance resembling that of the bridge of the ship and is sure to be a show stopper.
For a passer-by, the South Bay will serve as a landmark and a true benchmark in luxury.
For a resident, it’ll simply be home.
